Installation

Choose your operating system to get started with Probably:

macOS Installation

Step 1: Download

Download for macOS

Step 2: Install

1. Double-click the downloaded .pkg file
2. Follow the installation wizard
3. Enter your password when prompted
4. Launch Probably from Applications folder

Step 3: Get Started

Upload a data file

Connect to Snowflake database

Generate synthetic data

No installation required! Just download and run:

chmod +x probably

./probably

Troubleshooting Installation

Common Issues

macOS Security Warning

Right-click the app and select “Open” if blocked by Gatekeeper
Go to System Preferences → Security & Privacy to allow the app
Ensure you downloaded from the official source

Linux permissions error

Make the binary executable: chmod +x probably
Run from terminal: ./probably
Check that all dependencies are installed
